Various modular building blocks can be connected to iMachine, such as GPS and other positioning blocks, or sensors that can measure temperature, weight, status and so on. Current modular building blocks support iMachine’s many IoT applications, and if the there are new technological demands, existing items can easily be replaced, making the device more valuable and up-to-date. With this solution, you can manage only the tasks customers really need. The device supports a wide variety of technologies and sensors, and solutions can be virtually infinite. We will look at some of these areas a little closer.

From 23rd-26th April MOHAnet is attending the MVNOs World Congress in Madrid. Click on the following link for further information about this event:

Burglar alarm monitoring

Each burglar alarm control panel has a wired telephone line connection to transmit various status information and event signals to the monitoring station. Fixed-line technology is being used less and less on the telemonitoring market, because continuous diagnostic control of alarm systems (one-minute life signal) are costly and open to abuse.

iMacine, therefore, uses a secure wireless data communication to receive so-called ’Contact ID’ based event codes and transmit signals to remote monitoring stations. iMachine is connected to the alarm system’s telephone line by two wires.

Installation takes a few minutes and does not require any programming. The system is fully secure and all settings are obtained automatically from the alarm system during the first communication.

When an alarm or other unexpected event occurs (for example, in case of an error message), iMachine sends an alert to the monitoring station. The event signal is in real-time (less than 1 second), which results in very fast communication.

Vehicle remote monitoring

For vehicle tracking, iMachine must be connected to an auxiliary GPS board that supports satellite positioning.

You can also add card-based driver recognition to the iMachine. In the case of this card identification, a radio frequency card reader must be installed in the vehicle, and an identification card must be touched to the card reader to start the ignition. If the car is stolen, iMachine sends a signal to the telemonitoring provider who acts immediately.

iMachine not only provides protection against potential theft, but also allows you to track the route, tachograph, fuel or even cargo temperature in the Monitoringbook software. The software immediately sends a signal to the monitoring station when the set limit (i.e. low fuel) has been exceeded.

Fire monitoring station

Worldwide, as in Hungary, two systems of fire detection are used: one analog, the other is the analog addressable system. The difference between the two is that the signal in the analogue system is triggered by a sensor loop, so we can not accurately determine which sensor of the loop the fire alarm came from. The analog addressable system prevents such unpleasant situations, since every sensor in the loop has its own address. If a signal from the fire alarm monitoring system is received, the monitoring staff not only know which loop the alarm came from, but also which detectors sensed the fire.

iMachine differs from other fire detection solutions by being able to transmit “selective” transmissions as mentioned above, as it has a printer connection. With the help of the latter, the fire brigade receive text messages from the fire alarm center. The selective fire detection provides more accurate information and a more effective response.

Indoor positioning

More and more companies believe the physical integrity of their workers should be safeguarded, and want to make sure that work is carried out in all circumstances. For years, there has been an unresolved problem at companies, for example, when an accident occurs at night, it may remain unnoticed for a long time.

Another existing problem happens during night shifts. Namely, workers prefer to sleep instead of work at the factory. If physical workers are not actively involved in production, the company will suffer financial losses.

If a Bluetooth board is connected to iMachine, it can be used to monitor signals received from the Accelerometer Beacon transmitter attached to workers’ trousers, thus solving this problem.

iMachine can be used to monitor the operating status of the Accelerometer Beacon tag, to check whether workers are spending their time working or not.

Other monitoring solutions

iMachine has several more monitoring solutions. To keep things short, we will only name these areas, but if you are interested in any of them, don’t hesitate to contact us online at info@mohanet.com , or during the upcoming MVNOs World Congress event we are attending in Madrid.

Other areas the iMachine operates in are:

  • Refrigerator monitoring
  • Remote Access Control System
  • Elevator monitoring
  • Indoor and outdoor information terminal
  • Vending machine monitoring
  • Liquid container monitoring
  • Forklift monitoring
  • Machine and equipment monitoring
  • Freight scale monitoring
  • Solar cell monitoring
