In Applying the Beacon part 1, we showed you, how to protect and monitor the physical integrity of manual workers when they are a group of 10-30. Of course, whether working with 100 or 1000 employees, there is an effective solution to the problem. And this is nothing more than using the Accelerometer Beacon and iMachine together.
The Accelerometer Beacon has the ability to measure and indicate the movement and acceleration.
Due to the small size of the Beacon, all staff member can easily carry it at all times. For it to be practical, a belt loop accessory has been made to it, so the workers can permanently keep the tiny transmitter.
The Beacon detects the motion, therefore if unexpected problems arise in relation to the worker’s health (such as loss of consciousness, or an accident), during which the person is laying down and does not move, the Beacon starts to signal.
The wall-mounted iMachine gets the signal, and transfers it to the monitoring station, so intervention can begin as soon as possible. Since with iMachine the area is divided into zones, locating the employees is easy.
With the established iMachine network, not only the movements of the workers within the company can be detected
We can place the Beacons on tools, furniture, pallets, or even on the finished products or raw materials too. So the tools can be easily found, and theft can be prevented as well. Or, those are easily discoverable, as the iMachine gives real-time information on the location of the Beacons.
Please, consult our colleagues for more possibilities the Beacons provide!
